Faucet Repair
Drips, weeping spouts, stiff handles and loose bases — repaired rather than replaced where possible.
What you’re dealing with
It drips, the handle has gone stiff or floppy, or there is water pooling at the base of the spout — and it is a fixture you would rather not lose.
A dripping faucet is usually a worn cartridge, a dressed seat or a perished O-ring, not a dead fixture. On a good faucet, replacing it is almost always the wrong answer.
What the work may involve
- Identifying the make, model and cartridge family from the fixture itself
- Replacing cartridges, stems, seats, springs and O-rings
- Descaling aerators and cleaning out debris from the valve body
- Re-seating and re-indexing handles so hot and cold land where they should
- Checking the shut-offs and supply lines while everything is apart
Every job is different. This is what these jobs usually include, not a fixed scope — we will tell you what yours needs once we have seen it.
